How to Publish

  • To publish a book through Sedora, an imprint of DC Books, you are required to submit a copy of your manuscript. You may send a photocopy, a printed version, or a soft copy.
  • Once received, the Editorial Department will review your manuscript and prepare a report for the Editorial Committee, which will make the final decision regarding publication. 
  • You will be informed of the committee’s decision through a letter sent to the postal or email address you provide.
  • Ensure that you send the complete manuscript. Additionally, include your postal address, contact number, email ID, and a brief author bio.

  • If a manuscript is accepted, an agreement will be drafted between the author and DC Books.
  • This agreement outlines the terms of publication, including royalty specifications.
  • Once signed by both parties, the manuscript shifts into the publication process.
  • Authors do not have to bear any publishing expenses.
  • A royalty will be paid to the author as specified in the agreement.
  • Post production, the writer will receive author copies of the book.
  • Rejected manuscripts will not be returned. Submit only a copy of the original work.
  • Previously rejected manuscripts will not be reconsidered.
  • Personal meetings with the editor are possible, but a prior appointment is required.
